- Is there a rescue system for the Archaeopteryx? Yes. Since on the one hand the airplane is developed for extremely good-natured flight characteristics it offers a high measure of active security. In addition to that we will standard equip the Archaeopteryx with a special developed all airplane rescue system. Rocket-powered, no jumping out of the pilot, small sink rate, no risk of twist.
- Is the Archaeopteryx still foot launchable in zero wind conditions? Absolutely, it is developed for that!
- Can I already test-fly the Archaeopteryx? For legal reasons we can not make the current prototype available for test flights. On our demos seat trials in the cockpit as well as run trials are available for pilots interested in the pre-sale.
- Which license do I need to fly the Archaeopteryx in my country? We have started a world-wide inquiry with the national federations regarding this topic. The results are presented in the » license country list, which is constantly extended.
- Will you provide also an auxiliary power system for the Archaeopteryx? At the current stage the team concentrates on the preparations and the technical development for the serial version of the glider. However, the development of an auxiliary power system basically seems to be feasible and will be probably offered according to the interest in such a system in a further future.
