Australia: Big New Year's Eve flight

Marlies Eicher flies with her perfect Archaeopteryx FAI triangle: 330 km in 6:45 hours. First at 12:30 it starts at home by the Yando Airfield in Boort, Victoria. Her husband Peter gives her a short trike towing and goes back to work on the olive farm.

Marlies two days later: "It was a fantastic day, strong thermals, high base, very little wind ... So I'm still not quite back on the floor Everything's the best for 2012!."
